Mercer Island summer camps for kids

A Music Nature Camp for kids called Island Beat will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church between July 11 and 15 and is for ages 11 to 14. The camp will include award-winning musician Joe Craven and a facilitator from the Wilderness Awareness School based in Duvall, Wash. For more, go to www.islandbeatmnc.org.

Mercer Island Montessori will offer a day program for children 2 1/2 to 5 years old and drawing classes for ages 4 to 9 this summer. There are six sessions of five weekdays each. Go to www.mercerislandmontessori.com.
