Clinton Fearon's roots reggae group, Boogie Brown Band, will appear Thursday, Aug. 4, at Mostly Music in the Park in Mercerdale Park.

The group has been performing together since 1993 and is led by Fearon, who hails from St. Catherine, Jamaica. It features original lyrics and hard-driving, stainless rhythms.

On Sunday, Aug. 7, the free concert series continues with the Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra, a 16-piece band with two vocalists.

Jo Miller & Her Burly Roughnecks -- hillbilly/honky-tonk swing -- appear on Aug. 11.

The shows start at 7 p.m. and will go on in a drizzle but not a downpour.
