OLYMPIA -- Two Mercer Island youngsters, including a state senator's son, served as legislative pages recently.

Trevor Weinstein, sponsored by his father, Sen. Brian Weinstein, D-41st District, spent a week serving as a Senate page, as did Brianna Burrows, who the senator also sponsored.

Trevor, whose mother is Gaylene Vaden, attends Mercer Island High School where he is in the tenth grade and a member of the lacrosse team. In his free time, he enjoys photography, playing the guitar, and spending time with friends.

Burrows, daughter of Chip Burrows and Siona Windsor, attends Islander Middle School where she is in the eighth grade. In her free time, she enjoys dance, music, and drama.
