`In a Muddle"

Audrey Peek, as Claire, and Eric Goetschel, as ``Limping Man,'' rehearse for the Mercer Island High School drama production, ``Fuddy Meers.'' Written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Karen Campbell, the play is a comedy about a girl who has a rare form of psychogenic amnesia. Whenever she goes to sleep, her memory is erased. Each performance will be followed by a discussion about some of the issues touched on in the play, such as mental illness, dysfunctional families and domestic violence. Audience members can ask questions of the actors or of a crisis counselor. About 20 MIHS students make up the cast and crew. The production runs Feb. 3-5 and 10-11, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night at MIHS Performing Arts Center. For tickets and more information, call 236-3421.
