MI Women’s Club
The Mercer Island Women’s Club’s annual fundraising luncheon will be held on Monday, Feb. 4, at the Mercer Island Presbyterian Church. MI Youth & Family Services
Mercer Island Youth and Family Services’ annual Giving from the Heart Breakfast, to raise money for the agency, will take place at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Community Center at Mercerview. Seattle Foundation will match gifts of $150 or more on one-to-one basis. Mary Wayte Pool
The Northwest Center, the nonprofit that operates the Mary Wayte Pool on Mercer Island, has announced a capital campaign to make needed repairs on the pool. NWC hopes to raise $150,000 to replace the pool liner, renovate the locker rooms and upgrade the heating and ventilation systems. The NWC has already invested in new equipment for people with disabilities, roofing, lighting, painting, filters, diving boards and starting blocks.
