Mercer Island kids go sledding

Mile-long traffic jams, bus crashes, a grim forecast ahead — things have been chaotic since snow hit Western Washington earlier this week. But for most of the kids in the region, snow just means a day off and some unbridled fun.

Mercer Island Reporter photographer Chad Coleman caught a few kids taking advantage of the snow earlier today at Mercer Island's Homestead Field.

Enjoy. Then get out in the snow.
