Sound Publishing purchases Everett Daily Herald from Washington Post Company

Sound Publishing, Inc. announced Wednesday, Feb. 6 that it has signed an agreement with the Washington Post Company to acquire the Everett (WA) Daily Herald, a 46,000 circulation daily and Sunday newspaper and its other print and online products. The transaction is expected to close in early March.

If tolls on I-90 are inevitable, I strongly urge consideration of this tolling method. It meets the tolling objectives and is also fair to Mercer Island residents, workers and visitors.
