The Bellevue Botanical Garden Society is looking for quality collector, antique and home décor donations for its Vintage Sale to be held April 4-7. All proceeds will benefit the “Growing a Living Legacy” campaign to fund an education center, visitor services building, more parking and a new garden area for the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
MIHS alum to play tennis in Maccabiah Men's Open

Mercer Island High School graduate Max Franklin, who plays for the Washington University men's tennis team in St. Louis, has been named to the United States Maccabiah men's tennis open team. The team will participate in the 19th annual World Maccabiah Games held July 17-30 in Israel.

Transportation is a regional problem. Our regional transportation system is falling apart and must be repaired. The fix must be a regional solution. Tolling I-90 to pay for 520 does not address our bigger problem — maintaining the entire road system.
