Last day to register to vote is Oct. 4

The last day to register to vote in the upcoming Nov. 2 general election is Oct. 4.

Registration can be done online through the Secretary of State's Web site.

Would-be voters can also register by mail and registration forms are available at the King County Elections office in Tukwila, City Hall, and the Mercer Island Fire stations. Forms must be postmarked by Monday in order to vote in the November election.

People who are not already registered and sign up in person at the election office through Oct. 25.
