With tomorrow's 5 p.m. rush hour start to the University of Washington's football game against UCLA, the streets are going to get messy.
The Washington State Department of Transportation is urging drivers to plan ahead and be aware that commutes will likely take longer.
WSDOT says drivers will likely see longer backups on north and southbound Interstate-5 through and into the city and along State Route 520. Exits into the university district, such as N.E. 45th and Mountlake Boulevard are going to be busy too.
With drivers being urged to allow extra time or choose alternate routes, traffic on I-90 could also back up earlier than normal.
