The PBS documentary "Inside E Street," featuring Mercer Island High School teacher Jan Sayers and several of her Mercer Island students, will air on KCTS 9 on Jan. 16 at 12:30 p.m.
The 1995 interview of Morrie Schwartz by Ted Koppel on "Nightline" inspired Mitch Albom's best-selling book, "Tuesdays with Morrie." The documentary looks at life since then and the impact that the book and Schwartz have had on millions of people.
In May, the Reporter spoke with Sayers and several of her students about the book and the documentary. Read the story here.
