After four and a half years leading the Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club, Blair Rasmussen has stepped down from his position.
According to a press release from Daniel Johnson, the president and CEO of Boys & Girls Club of King County, Rasmussen had said when he was hired he wanted to help build a new facility and once it was complete would step aside.
"The project has exceeded everyone's expectation," said Johnson in the press release. "As we neared completion of the project last spring, Blair said he wanted to get the new leader on board and make sure they were settled, but would not stay in his role beyond the end of December."
Rasmussen has been replaced by Club Director Stephanie Davidson, with his last day on Dec. 27.
