A public meeting tonight will feature design ideas and locations for new public school facilities on the Island. The 21st Century Facilities Planning Committee for Mercer Island School District is holding a presentation tonight, from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Islander Middle School Library.

The 21st Century Facilities Planning Committee (21CFPC) is a citizen’s committee created by the Mercer island School District School Board to help address the facilities challenges facing the district. The group has been working together for a year, investigating scenarios for housing students and programs to best meet the long-range facility needs of the district. Come hear what the committee has learned and the options they are considering putting before the board this fall.

For information or to leave feedback with the committee, email 21CFPC_Feedback@misd.wednet.edu
