Rally for postal service on Mercer Island Sept. 27

Tuesday, Sept. 27 was designated by the nation's postal employee's to be a day to rally around saving the postal service.
A rally will be held in each congressional district, including on Mercer Island on 78th Ave. S.E near Congressman Dave Reichert's office from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The postal employees how to inform the public about the financial situation facing the U.S. Postal Service and what that means for residents, as well as how it can be resolved.
