Statewide bicycle and pedestrian count this week

The statewide bicycle and pedestrian count will take place through Sept. 29.

The count, which is being taken across the state, is also focusing on Eastside cities and Mercer Island.

Washington State Department of Transportation is working with the Cascade Bicycle Club to gather volunteers to help count.
