Around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14 an Issaquah woman in her late 20's accidentally drove her 2011 Mercedes Benz through the front doors of the North-end QFC.
No one was injured after the car crashed into the doors in front of the floral section of the grocery store. While there were no injuries, several shoppers were bustling about picking up last minute Valentine's Day goodies.
A Mercer Island police officer quipped that "she must have really wanted some flowers."
According to the Mercer Island Police report, the driver thought her car was in park, but that her heel was trapped by something on the floor board and hit the accelerator, propelling her car into the store.
Minor damage was done to the car and the store.
