A record number of people turned out, in the sunshine, for the 40th annual Mercer Island Rotary Run.

Racers gathered at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center early Sunday morning for the various events, including the Kids Dash, half marathon runs and walks, 10k run and 5k run and walk.

Results for all races will be posted at the Mercer Island Rotary Run website.
