Mercer Island High School adds two as associate principals

Starting in the fall, Mercer Island High School will have two new associate principals, one a familiar face.

Jamie Prescott and Jeffery D'Ambrosio will join the school's administration team as associate principals in the next school year.

Prescott is a teacher at MIHS, as well as the girls basketball coach and graduate of the school. She finished her administration internship and was the school's Dean of Students during the last school year. Prescott completed her master's degree at the University of Puget Sound and her bachelor's degree at the University of Washington.

D'Ambrosio moves to the Mercer Island School District from Snoqualmie, where he completed his administrative internship. He taught history and was the basketball coach at Mount Si High School. He has also taught special education and was a coach at Eastside Catholic High School. He completed his master's degree at Seattle Pacific University and his bachelor's degree at Gonzaga University.
