East Seattle neighborhood National Night Out party is Aug. 7

A National Night Out party for the East Seattle Neighborhood is between 6 and 9 p.m., Aug. 7, at Slater Park. Organizers ask that families bring potluck snacks or drinks. Reacquaint yourself with neighbors and meet new ones.

Visit and have fun and watch the sunset. Hang out with City of Mercer Island safety officers and learn tips on how to take care of your family and others during an emergency.
