SR 520 bridge to close this weekend, expect more traffic on I-90

The State Route 520 bridge will be closed this weekend for continued construction work, which likely means an increase in traffic going across Mercer Island on Interstate 90.

The bridge will close at 11 p.m. on Friday night, Sept. 21 and reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24.
