City Council taps former mayors to discuss tolling

The Mercer Island City Council will hold a special meeting on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 9 a.m. in the Mercer Room at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center.

The Council will meet with former mayors of Mercer Island to discuss past policies, agreements and interests of Mercer Island regarding I-90 design, construction and operations, including WSDOT’s proposal to study tolling of I-90.

The public is invited to observe and listen to the discussion. There will not be a public input opportunity at this meeting; however, public comment can always be made at regular City Council meetings.
