State to hold free small business tax workshop

The Seattle office of the Washington State Department of Revenue is hosting a free workshop for new and small business owners between 1 and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at 2101 4th Ave., Suite 1400, in Seattle.

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection, and record-keeping requirements. All receive a workbook and reference guide to Department of Revenue rules and regulations.
