Bellevue students suspected of graffiti at Mercer Island High School

Bellevue High School students are suspected of writing graffiti on multiple glass windows and doors in the commons at Mercer Island High School. The incident took place around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 1.

The content of the graffiti indicated that the unknown perpetrators were from Bellevue High School, according to the MIPD report. The graffiti expressed pride in Bellevue but was also derogatory in nature, exhibiting anti-Semitism and containing profanity.

A surveillance video reviewed by the MISD director of maintenance revealed three subjects, one of whom was a female.
