Free SAT and ACT practice tests offered for high school students
College Tutors invites college-bound 10th and 11th graders to take a practice SAT or ACT test to gauge their current achievement level and readiness for college entrance exams.
All colleges require either and ACT or SAT score to accompany applications.
The free exams will be given at 9 a.m., Dec. 14th at College Tutors’ Mercer Island Learning Center, at 7605 SE 27th #101. There are additional tests scheduled in the coming months.
The College Tutors practice tests will mimic the setting and timing of the actual exams. Students and parents are later invited to a complementary, individualized consultation to review scored exams and highlight areas of strength and weakness.
“There is significant value in a student having early exposure to full length college entrance exams. Our free practice exams offer students the chance to test under more realistic conditions than the PSAT or PLAN, which provides a more accurate benchmark score,” says Mulligan. “College admissions has never been more competitive, so having a strong score on the SAT or ACT puts students at an advantage,” adds Mulligan.
