Music, dance and drama to open SJCC new auditorium Feb. 8

The Stroum Jewish Community Center of Mercer Island has finished a $5 million renovation of its auditorium and theatre. To celebrate, it is holding a grand opening party, at 8 p.m. Feb. 8. It will feature an array of performances from “Memphis” actor Chad Kimball, cellist Julian Schwarz, dancers to a preview of Book-It’s production of “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay."
