MOURNING THE POPE

St. Monica Catholic Church is holding nine days of mourning for the passing of Pope John Paul II on Saturday, April 2. The ceremony, held at 7 p.m. each night, will include Benediction and the rosary through Sunday, April 10. (Stephen Weigand/Mercer Island Reporter)
