Overnight lane and ramp closures on westbound I-90 will occur from March 23 through March 25 between Mercer Island and Bellevue. WSDOT and Sound Transit crews are adding HOV lanes to the I-90 outer roadway between Bellevue and Mercer Island. They are also building new I-90 HOV on and off-ramps on Mercer Island and improving I-90 HOV access at Bellevue Way.

Two westbound I-90 lanes between I-405 and East Mercer Way will be closed, beginning March 23. Each night, the first lane will close at 7 p.m., and the second lane will close at 9 p.m. Both lanes will reopen by 5 a.m., the next morning.

Crews will close the HOV on-ramp from southbound Bellevue Way to westbound I-90 each night from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., the following morning.

The HOV on-ramp from southbound I-405 to westbound I-90 will be closed each night from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., the next morning. Carpools and transit should use the general-purpose ramp during the closures. Crews will also replace signs.
