King County Candidates forum Tuesday, July 28 | Get live updates

On Tuesday, July 28, the six candidates vying for the position of King County Executive will participate in a forum in Federal Way. One of the Mercer Island Reporter's sister sites, the Federal Way Mirror, will be providing live updates from the forum, starting at 7:30 a.m.

The King County Executive is the highest elected official in King County government. The position is currently held by Kirk Triplett, who assumed the role earlier this year after former executive Ron Sims vacated the post to become the deputy secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developement.
