School Board meets Thursday, PEAK is not on agenda

The Mercer Island School District Board of Directors will meet on Thursday evening during a regularly scheduled board meeting.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the board room in the district Administration Building.

On the agenda is a discussion of the school improvement plans for Islander Middle School and Mercer Island High School, as well as discussing a possible maintenance and operations, transportation and/or technology level for February 2010.

Absent from the board’s agenda is a discussion or update on the district’s negotiations with the Boys & Girls Club of King County concerning the issue of PEAK.

During the meeting, the board will recognize the Mercer Island Little League team, which recently traveled to the Little League World Series.
