The I-90 bridge will be closed this week for the Blue Angels' practice and shows during Seafair.

Drivers who want to ensure that they can cross the lake using I-90 should drive across Lake Washington at least one hour before the announced closure times, according to WSDOT.

Thursday, Aug. 5

9:45 a.m.-12 p.m.; 1:15 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 6

12:45 p.m.-2:40 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 7

12:45 p.m.-2:40 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 8

12:45 p.m.-2:40 p.m.

The center roadway will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 6-8. Mercer Island on-ramps to westbound I-90 will close 30 minutes prior to the lane closures, including West Mercer Way from Roanoke Way to S.E. 24th. Access on West Mercer Way from Roanoke Way to the 2100 block of West Mercer Way will be available only to residents and their guests.

Visit the city Web site for a list of Mercer Island ramps affected by the closure, and the Seafair Web site for details on schedules, shows and various activities going on this weekend.
