The community is invited to celebrate and honor late Island Park Elementary teacher Jesse Jaramillo on Friday, June 7.

The celebration of his life will take place in the multi-purpose room at the school from 4 to 5 p.m., directly following the All Island Track Meet.

Jaramillo was a longtime P.E. teacher at the school. In his honor, a dance education endowment has been created through the Mercer Island Fine Arts Committee to help provide dance education to Mercer Island students.
