BURGLARY: At 11:54 a.m., a victim in the 3000 block of 78th Ave. SE said their toolshed was unlawfully entered by force, and a ladder was taken.

June 4

MARINE: Vessels collided in the water at the Mercer Island boat launch, in the 3800 block of E. Mercer Way, at 7:06 p.m.

June 6

INFORMATIONAL REPORT: A construction worker cut off his left ring finger with a concrete saw at 12:24 p.m. in the 4000 block of 86th Ave. SE.

HARASSMENT: An Island man in the 7000 block of 94th Ave. SE said at 3:58 p.m. that his 12-year-old daughter received a disturbing and threatening text message on her phone from a possible classmate.

WARRANT ARREST: A vehicle was stopped for a report of sale violation at 8:14 p.m. in the 2800 block of 78th Ave. SE. The driver was found to have a suspended license and a local MIPD warrant. He was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.

June 7

PROWLING: Prescription eyeglasses were possibly stolen after a car prowl in the 7900 block of SE 34th St. at 5:12 a.m. The victim said he left his car unlocked, and found the glove box open.

EXTORTION-BLACKMAIL: A victim in the 7200 block of E. Mercer Way said at 10:40 a.m. that she received a letter stating that she owes money for upkeep of her home, or the sender would place a lien on her property.

BURGLARY: A woman reported a residential burglary at 1:26 p.m. in the 8000 block of SE 65th St. Items were stolen, for a loss of $772.

PROWLING: A victim’s locked vehicle was broken into in the 8200 block of SE 24th St. at 4:07 p.m. Various items, including a Garmin GPS, were taken.

June 8

TRAFFIC OFFENSES: A vehicle was stopped at 2:32 a.m. in the 2300 block of W. Mercer Way for expired tabs and improper license plates. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

BURGLARY: A home under construction in the 6700 block of W. Mercer Way was entered overnight, probably though an unsecured back door. The incident, including the theft of several power tools, was reported at 7:16 a.m.

FRAUD: A Verizon account was opened using the name and information of a victim in the 2900 block of 76th Ave. SE, who reported it at 11:06 a.m.

PROWLING: A victim reported that their vehicle was unlawfully entered in the 4100 block of 78th Ave. SE at 12:20 p.m. Nothing was damaged or missing.

THEFT: Jewelry was taken from an elderly female, who is now deceased. The incident was reported at 3:54 p.m. in the 6100 block of 94th Ave. SE.

FRAUD: Multiple credit cards were fraudulently opened in the name of a victim in the 4100 block of 100th Ave. SE, who reported it at 10:49 a.m.

THEFT: A package was stolen from the doorstep of a victim in the 7200 block of SE 29th St. while she was away. She reported the theft at 4:48 p.m.

June 11

FOUND PROPERTY: A jogger found a backpack containing miscellaneous items at 2:12 p.m. in the 7200 block of 84th Ave. SE.

June 12

PROWLING: A victim’s vehicle’s window was broken at 6:36 a.m. in the 9800 block of SE 35th Place, but it did not appear that anything had been taken.
