June 16

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: A suspect used a rock to break windows on two houses under construction in the 7600 block of SE 40th St. at 4:26 a.m.

MORE MISCHIEF: Employees of the Mary Wayte pool morning crew discovered at 5:27 a.m. that a window on the front of the building had been broken with a rock by an unknown suspect.

PROWLING: An unlocked vehicle was entered overnight in the 7400 block of 78th Ave. SE. A Bluetooth adapter and paperwork were taken from the glovebox.

June 21

BURGLARY: A house in the 8500 block of SE 78th St. was burglarized overnight while the victim was home. The suspect entered through an open garage door and went into the house, taking a briefcase and stealing credit cards that were later used.

PROWLING: Someone prowled an unlocked vehicle in the 7500 block of 86th Ave. SE overnight and took about $20 Canadian and $5 U.S. cash.

FRAUD: A victim in the 3200 block of E. Lexington Way reported at 8:52 a.m. that their personal information, including Social Security number, was stolen.

PROWLING: A car prowl was reported at 11:02 a.m. in the 7500 block of 86th Ave. SE.

THEFT: A victim left a purse on the counter in the 2800 block of 78th Ave. SE, and found that money was missing when they returned at 1:40 p.m.

June 22

FRAUD: A victim in the 3900 block of 86th Ave. SE reported at 9:42 a.m. that a Capital One credit card was fraudulently opened in her name.

WARRANT ARREST: A suspect was stopped for a traffic violation in the 8400 block of eastbound Interstate 90 at 11:28 a.m. They had a warrant out of Renton for driving with a suspended license, and were arrested and transferred into the custody of Renton Police.

PROWLING: A car prowl was reported at 3:35 p.m. in the 8400 block of 85th Ave. SE.

MARIJUANA: Police responded to an incident involving a violation of the uniform controlled substance act (possession of 40 grams or less of marijuana) at 10:39 p.m. in the 7700 block of E. Mercer Way.

June 23

WARRANT ARREST: A Seattle Police officer booked a subject with a Mercer Island warrant at 4:29 p.m.

ANOTHER ARREST: A warrant subject was arrested by Kirkland Police at 5:49 p.m. and booked into Issaquah Jail.

June 24

PROWLING: A victim in the 7800 block of SE 28th St. reported at 7:06 a.m. that several items were stolen from his unsecured car. There was no damage to the vehicle.

ASSAULT: At 8:55 a.m., a witness/victim reported a case of malicious mischief (writing with a permanent marker on a vehicle) and an assault that occurred in the 7800 block of SE 29th St. and in the Chase Building in the 7900 block of SE 28th St.

THEFT: A package containing a special edition “Harry Potter” book set was stolen from the lobby of a condo complex in the 2700 block of 76th Ave. SE. at 2:27 p.m.

June 25

DUI: A vehicle was stopped for speeding and lane travel violations at 2:12 a.m. in the 9400 block of eastbound I-90. Police recognized an odor of intoxicants upon contact and arrested the driver. A breath sample was provided at the police department, with results of .184 and .190.
