Mercer Island neighbors celebrated an evening of holiday merriment during the community tree lighting ceremony and caroling on Friday.
The event kicked off with a caroling and tree lighting at Mercerdale Park. Then participants walked to the North Fire Station for the annual Firehouse Munch, which included arts and crafts, Santa photos, treats and musical entertainment.
