Islanders report burglary, fraud and a dog bite | Police Blotter

April 7

FRAUD: At 5:57 a.m., a victim in the 2800 block of 61st Ave. SE said two fraudulent payments were made from their checking accounts, and a third attempt had failed.

BURGLARY: Juveniles entered an unoccupied home under construction in the 7500 block of 85th Place and caused damage. The incident was reported at 9:18 a.m.

April 8

PROWLING: A car prowl and theft were reported at 11:46 a.m. in the 4500 block of Island Crest Way.

April 9

DEATH INVESTIGATION: A natural death was reported at 10:32 a.m. in the parking lot of St. Monica Church.

April 10

THEFT: A theft and a violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act were reported at 10:55 a.m. in the 8400 block of SE 68th St.

MENTAL: A man told his family he was suicidal and “going to crash his vehicle to end it all” in the 7800 block of SE 28th St. at 2:56 p.m. He was transported to the hospital by AMR.

April 11

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: A man said he was bitten by a dog as he walked by it in the 8500 block of SE 71st St. at 11:44 a.m. The dog was being walked on a leash.

April 12

FRAUD: A bank check forgery was reported at 3:25 p.m. in the 3200 block of 78th Ave. SE.
