Islanders report car prowls | Police Blotter

The blotter consists of officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in Mercer Island. Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Sept. 9

PROWLING: A purse was stolen from a vehicle after a car prowl in the 8600 block of SE 68th St. at 5:17 p.m. The car’s rear passenger side window had been broken.

Sept. 11

PROWLING: Two unlocked vehicles were prowled overnight in the 3900 block of 96th Ave. SE. A wallet and purse were stolen, and debit card use was recorded.
