Dec. 21

DUI: There was a two-vehicle collision in the 2700 block of 80th Ave. SE at 7:37 p.m. One of the drivers, who had a strong odor of intoxicants, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI, providing BAC samples of .085 and .082.

Dec. 22

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: A victim in the 9300 block of Mercerwood Drive reported at 7:53 a.m. that their car was damaged by a 60 pound retaining wall block that was removed from their landscaping.

THEFT: A victim in the 3400 block of W. Mercer Way said at 10:53 a.m. that their bracelet, valued at $26,600 in a 1988 appraisal, was stolen six months ago.

WARRANT ARREST: Police made a misdemeanor warrant arrest in the 2200 block of W. Mercer Way at 4:55 p.m.

Dec. 23

MORE MISCHIEF: A rock was thrown at the windshield of a parked dump truck in the 6900 block of 96th Ave. SE, causing $700 in damage. The incident was reported at 8:36 a.m.

PROWLING: A motor vehicle prowl was reported in the 7200 block of 91st Place SE at 9:07 a.m.

BURGLARY: A victim in the 7200 block of 91st Place SE reported at 10:40 a.m. that a burglary had occurred in their detached garage, where both of the family vehicles were prowled and a checkbook was stolen.

FALSE INFORMATION: A subject was contacted during a shoplifting investigation in the 7700 block of SE 27th St. at 7:42 p.m. She provided a false name, which had an attached warrant. After her arrest, she admitted to lying about her name.

WARRANT ARREST: A subject was arrested for a local warrant at 10:19 p.m. by Washington State Patrol, who transferred custody to MIPD. They were booked into Issaquah Jail.

WEAPONS VIOLATION: A woman accidentally shot herself in the arm with her boyfriend’s weapon in the 2800 block of 75th Place SE at 10:34 p.m. The gun, a .357 revolver, was recovered as evidence, though the expended round was not located. She was transported to Harborview via Medic 1.

Dec. 24

WARRANT ARREST: Washington State Patrol direct booked an MIPD warrant subject into Issaquah Jail at 12:09 a.m.

DOMESTIC: Police responded to a report of assault and battery in the 9700 block of SE 40th St. at 9:23 a.m.

Dec. 26

BURGLARY: Tools were reported stolen from a secured closet in a locked house under construction in the 2400 block of 63rd Ave. SE at 8:02 a.m.

Dec. 27

PROWLING: A victim reported at 12:07 p.m. that their unlocked vehicle was prowled in a secure parking garage in the 7700 block of Sunset Highway. A GPS and camera lens were taken, and two cookies were left behind.

LOST PROPERTY: A man in the 2800 block of 75th Place SE said at 11:44 a.m. that his mother lost her military ID card.

Dec. 29

REPORT: A woman came into MIPD at 11:17 p.m. to report that her husband had left their 7-year-old son alone for more than four hours in the 2400 block of 66th Ave. SE.

ORDER VIOLATION: A suspect, who had been served with an order on Dec. 22, sent text messages to a victim on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25, despite being restrained from having any contact with the victim by phone. The incident was reported in the 4200 block of 91st Ave. SE at 12:34 p.m.

DEATH INVESTIGATION: An elderly female died overnight in the 2900 block of 76th Ave. SE.

FOUND ROUNDS: A woman dropped off old firearm rounds that she found in her father’s home at 3:26 p.m.
