Mercer Island Parent Edge roundtable on self regulation

Mercer Island Parent Edge will be hosting several roundtable discussions at the end of January and into February about self regulation. The discussion is aimed at parents of fifth grade through high school senior students to discuss why self regulation is important to students and their learning.

Mercer Island Parent Edge will be hosting several roundtable discussions at the end of January and into February about self regulation. The discussion is aimed at parents of fifth grade through high school senior students to discuss why self regulation is important to students and their learning.

Roundtables are taught and led by Cubba Reese and Beth Larson Loken, two leading parenting experts in the area. They will help facilitate a discussion about how parents can help their child’s capacity to not only cope with and thrive in challenges they face.

The roundtable for Island Park and West Mercer will take place on Thursday, Jan. 31, followed by Islander Middle School on Feb. 4 and Mercer Island High School on Feb. 28. All roundtables are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in each school’s library.
