MIHS artists’ work shown at state Convention Center

Six metal design students at Mercer Island High School submitted their pieces for a month-long exhibition, “Passing the Torch,” at the Washington State Convention Center, now open through June. The awards ceremony is Sunday, April 28.

Six metal design students at Mercer Island High School submitted their pieces for a month-long exhibition, “Passing the Torch,” at the Washington State Convention Center, now open through June. The student artists are: Masami Cookson, Nam Dang-Luong, Derek Wingard, Ailin Fu, Gerry Wong and Alexandra Seidel.

The awards ceremony is slated to begin at noon on Sunday, April 28, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.
