Just in time for the election, more ballot boxes have been placed around the region, and one has been installed at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center at 8236 SE 24th St. The box will be open only during election periods each year, and accepts sealed ballots without the need for any first-class stamp.

As usual, ballots can also be returned by mail to King County Elections. These require a first-class stamp and must be postmarked by election day on Aug. 1. Learn more here.
