June 13

FRAUD: A victim in the 9000 block of SE 79th St. reported that their credit card was used to make fraudulent purchases. June 14 FRAUD: At 6:43 a.m., a woman lost her credit card at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland in May, and someone used it at the hospital’s coffee shop before she could cancel it.

BURGLARY: A burglary was reported at 7:13 p.m. in the 7700 block of Sunset Highway.

June 15

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: At 5:36 p.m., police received a report that someone had pushed a vehicle into the common area of a school in the 9100 block of SE 40th St. and scraped some of the stairs, causing $200 in damage.

INFORMATIONAL REPORT: BB rifles and assorted ammunition were turned in for destruction at 11:27 a.m. in the 9600 block of SE 36th St.

THEFT: A victim reported that her storage unit in the 2600 block of 77th Ave. SE was broken into, and her bicycle was stolen.

FRAUD: A victim in the 6900 block of 93rd Ave. SE reported at 8:40 p.m. that their identity was stolen to improperly obtain financial information.

June 16

TOOL THEFT: A burglary was reported at 6:28 a.m. at the Mercer Island Library in the 4400 block of 88th Ave. SE. Several thousands of dollars of tools were stolen from the building, which is being remodeled.

BURGLARY: A victim in the 5400 block of 91st Ave. SE said at 6:43 a.m. that their residence was unlawfully entered via a small, unsecured window in the garage. The victims were home when the burglary took place. Multiple tools, electronics and valuable items were taken.

PROWLING: Four unlocked vehicles were prowled overnight in the 4200 block of 85th Ave. SE. A purse was taken from one of the cars and an assortment of power tools and hand tools were stolen from a truck parked along the street.

ANOTHER PROWL: At 6:59 a.m., a victim in the 7400 block of W. Mercer Way reported that their unsecured car was rummaged through overnight. Nothing was taken, and there was no damage to the car.

CAR THEFT: A man reported at 7:31 a.m. that his car was stolen from his driveway in the 4100 block of 85th Ave. SE. The vehicle was not locked, but there were no keys left in the vehicle.

THIRD PROWL: An unlocked vehicle was prowled overnight in the 7500 block of 78th Ave. SE, and a laptop and sweater were taken.

FOURTH PROWL: A victim reported that their unlocked vehicle was unlawfully entered in the 4200 block of 85th Ave. SE at 9:33 a.m. The car was not damaged and nothing was taken.

FIFTH PROWL: A woman discovered that her vehicle, left parked and unlocked in the 7800 block of SE 76th St., was prowled overnight. The car’s registration and insurance card were missing.

SIXTH PROWL: At 5:33 p.m., a victim reported that someone stole a tote bag and passports from their car in the 7800 block of SE 76th St., for a loss of $300.

THEFT: A chop saw was stolen from a construction site in the 9900 block of SE 39th St. between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., while the contractor was on site, for a loss of $600.

FOUND PROPERTY: A child found a credit card at Islander Middle School at 7:34 p.m.

June 17

PROWLING: A victim’s victim was unlawfully entered in the 7600 block of 79th Ave. SE and reported at 3:10 p.m. Items were taken.

June 19

MISCHIEF: At 8:24 p.m., an Islander reported that two windows on their house in the 3800 block of 76th Ave. SE had been broken.

WARRANT ARREST: Police arrested a suspect for a misdemeanor warrant at 11:37 p.m. in the 20800 block of 17th Ave. S.

June 20

BURGLARY: Items were reported to be stolen from a victim’s garage in the 6200 block of E. Mercer Way at 3:15 p.m.

THEFT: Police responded to a shoplift reported at the North QFC. The suspect was located and positively identified, arrested and booked into SCORE Jail.
