The three defendants in the case of hate graffiti at Northwest Yeshiva High School, St. Monica Church and Island Park Elementary School were charged on Wednesday afternoon with one count of malicious harassment.

Court papers for each individual said in each case that the defendant “did maliciously and intentionally and because of his perception of the religion of the students and staff of Northwest Yeshiva High School did cause physical damage to or destruction of the property of Island Park Elementary, St. Monica Catholic Church and Northwest Yeshiva High School, and did place that person or members of that group of persons in reasonable fear of harm to person and/or property.”

The 18-year-old defendant will be arraigned on Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m. at the King County Courthouse, courtroom 1201. The two 17-year-old defendants will be arraigned on Oct. 27 in Juvenile Court.
