The America Library of Poetry has selected two poetry submissions from St. Monica Middle School; seventh grader, Leah Peters, and eighth grader, Tessa Zink, for the semi-final round of its national student poetry contest. This selection means that Leah and Tessa’s poems are contending for the grand prizes offered by the America Library of Poetry. Winners will be announced at the end of March.

Leah and Tessa have also been invited to publish their poems in the America Library of Poetry’s yearly book of outstanding student poems, “Imagine,” set for release this summer.
