Alan Peter Lacy, born May 16, 1948 to Norman P. Lacy and Anne H. Lacy of Seattle, WA and died January 26, 2017.

Alan was a Seattle University and University of Washington graduate. He was a Counter-Intelligence Officer in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Mercer Island Police Department in 2005 and then worked for Pinkerton in Fraud Investigations at Microsoft until 2014.

Al was involved in the Mercer Island Dive Team, writing software programs, was elected Officer of the Year several times, liked playing the guitar, taught himself Mandarin and was an avid reader. Alan passed away too soon and was admired, respected, and loved by all.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Lacy, daughter, Andrea Perun, and his sister Jeannine Lacy.

A memorial will take place later in the spring at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
