JAMES DENNIS FEELY

James Dennis Feely, 84, of Port Orchard, WA, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA, following a brief illness. Jim was born in Seattle, WA, on October 6, 1932, to James and Dorothy (Herzman) Feely.

He graduated from Franklin High School in 1951. His military Reserve unit was sent to Korea in 1951 to fight in the Korean War. He served in the Marine Corps for the year and a half he was in Korea. Upon returning to Seattle, he attended the University of Washington majoring in Economics. Jim worked at Boeing for many years before forming his own real estate company, Allan Dennis, Inc., of Mercer Island. He was a licensed realtor for 60 years.

Jim enjoyed flying small airplanes and float planes, boating, riding a motorcycle, living in an RV, and driving anything and everything fast.

Jim is survived by his wife of 21 years Celia (Androli) Gainer of Port Orchard, daughter Jennifer Malocha of Redmond, WA, daughter Julie (Scott) Watson of Fairbanks, AK, five grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Roslyn (Joe) Poehler of Waterville, MN and brothers-in-law Francis (Mary Lee) of Waterville, MN and Roy (Celestine) Androli of Edina, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Richard, son James Scott, daughter Cameron, sister-in-law Betty Mae Androli Smith of Newport News, VA.

At Jim’s request, there was no funeral or memorial service.
