JASON E. PALM

Jason E. Palm, age 41, passed away from us and into heaven on June 19, 2017 while working on Mercer Island.

Jason’s heart condition took his life suddenly and without suffering.

Jason was born in Seattle on February 25, 1976 to Gerald (Jerry) and Nancy Palm. He was raised on Mercer Island and attended Mercer Island schools through 8th grade. Jason went on to attend Eastside Catholic High School where he graduated in 1995. After high school Jason did landscape maintenance, primarily on Mercer Island.

Jason loved to salmon fish with his dad, particularly at Black Gold Lodge in Canada. Another of Jason’s favorite interests was NASCAR. A trip to California to see a race with his Uncle Denis was unforgettable. Because of his love for his family and friends, Jason kept in touch with many people through phone calls, text messages and Facebook.

Jason moved to Kittitas, WA in 2014 with his significant other, Johanna Shafer. They had one daughter, Carlee, now 21 months. Jason loved being a dad and his love for Carlee was immeasurable.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Jerry. Survived by his death is daughter, Carlee, significant other Johanna Shafer and her son Carter, his mother Nancy Palm, sister Kimberly Owens (Mike) and nephew Colton Owens.

A memorial service will be held at Cascade Covenant Church, 13225 436th Avenue SE, North Bend, WA 98045 on July 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm..
