What do you think of the proposal for the Mercer Island Fire Department to transport patients to local hospitals?

The City is considering a proposal which would allow fire fighters on the Island to transport patients to hospitals, rather than waiting for a private ambulance. The funds generated would help offset other budget cuts within the City.
