Will pedestrian signals make ICW safer to cross? | Online poll

The City of Mercer Island is going out to bid on a pedestrian signal project for two signals on Island Crest Way.

After several pedestrians and bikers have been hit in the last several years while trying to cross the Island roadway, we want to know if you feel this solution will help.

Do you feel the pedestrian signals that the city is installing on Island Crest Way will help keep walkers and bikers safer?

Watch for the results of this week's poll in next Wednesday's print edition on the Editorial page.
