Thank you, MI

Thank you, Mercer Island Community.

Here at the Mercer Island Reporter and Sound Publishing we are finishing up an eventful year.  We have maneuvered through many changes these last several months as we have moved from our old office behind Island Books into two new locations — one in the Mercer Island Shopping Center (up those stairs next  to Cascade Frames) and to our Eastside HQ on Richards Road in Factoria.

Many Islanders have been frustrated by these changes. We seem less available. It has not been easy for us either. But we are no less committed to this community than before. We want to thank you for your patience and applaud you for your persistence in contacting us.

We want to especially thank those of you who subscribe to our print edition and those who advertise with us. Those dollars keep us in business.  We wish also to  thank those who interact with us:  read us online and comment on our stories, write letters to the editor, or send us a notice about an event. We welcome Islanders’ story ideas and photos.

We always want to hear from you — our readers.

Happy New Year!
