Vote for Clibborn?

In your editorial, you encourage us to vote and state that “no matter the topic, our right to vote counts.” I completely agree and would encourage everyone to vote — after all, voting for Judy Clibborn, for example, is exactly what has got us into this mess. She has been there for eight years, during which time I would guess that she has voted for every tax increase and every spending project that the Democrats have passed.

This past session, she voted to disregard our vote to require a two-thirds majority for a tax increase. She does not respect our right to vote.

I would encourage everyone who has a vote to determine why they want to cast a vote for a person who does not believe in our voting rights.
